Materials
- 1 x 100g ball of Super Chunky.
- A Pair of 8mm Knitting Needles.
- A Pair of 10mm Knitting Needles
- Needle with Big Eye (for Sewing in Ends)
Instructions
- Using 8mm needles, cast on 42 [46]sts.
- 1st Row *K2, P2, rep from * to last 2sts, K2.
- 2nd Row P2 *K2, P2, rep from * to end.
- Work 5 more rows in 2×2 rib.
- 8th Row P3 [10], P2tog, (P9 [22], P2tog) 3 [1] times, P4 [10]. 38 [44]sts.
- Change to 10mm needles.
- Knit every Row.
- Work in garter stitch (as above) continue until hat measures 15 ½ [17 ½]cm (6 ¼ [7]in.)
Shape Crow
- 1st Row K2 [1], k2tog, (K2, k2tog) 8 [10] times, K2 [1]. 29 [33]sts.
- 2nd and Every Alternate Row Knit.
- 3rd Row K2 [1], k2tog, (K1, k2tog) 8 [10] times, K1 [0]. 20 [22]sts.
- 5th Row (K2tog) 10 [11] times. 10 [11]sts.
- 7th Row K0 [1], (K2tog) 5 times. 5 [6]sts.
- Break off yarn, run yarn through remaining 5 [6]sts, draw up and fasten off.
- Join back seam.
