Free Sweetie Blanket Pattern

Materials

  • 1 Ball of Sirdar Sweetie (Small blanket)
  • 2 Balls of Sirdar Sweetie (Large blanket)
  • Oddment of DK to cast on/cast off
  • 4mm Knitting Needle
  • Needle with Big Eye (for Sewing in Ends)
Cream-colored knitted blanket with a thick, bobble texture (made with Sirdar Sweetie yarn), draped over a wicker chair with a gray and white stuffed bunny toy.

Instructions

  • In DK cast on 40 sts (small blanket)48 sts (large blanket) very loosely.
  • Change to Sweetie and work as follows:
  • 1st Row. Knit to end, working 2sts between each pom pom using the thinner section of the yarn only.
  • Repeat 1st row until all yarn has been used.
  • Change to DK and cast off very loosely.
  • Sew in ends
