Instructions
Using 6.5mm hook chain 113
FOUNDATION ROW
Starting in 2nd chain from hook, work double crochet (DC) into each chain (112 sts)
ROW 1
Chain 3 (this counts as 1 treble (Tr))
Work 1 Tr into stitch at base of chain 3 *miss 2 stitches, work 3 Tr into next stitch, repeat
from * to last 3 stitches, miss 2 stitches, work 2 Tr in last stitch.
(This will be 2 TR, 36 clusters, 2 Tr)
ROW 2
Chain 3 (this counts as 1 treble (Tr))
*Work 3 Tr into each space. Repeat from * until end of row, then make 1 Tr into top of 3
chains from row below.
(This will be 1 Tr , 37 clusters, 1 Tr)
ROW 3
Chain 3 (this counts as 1 Tr))
Work 1 Tr into stitch at base of 3 chains. * work 3 treble clusters into each space. Repeat
from* to end. Work 2 Tr in last space. (This will be 2 Tr , 36 clusters, 2 Tr)
Repeat rows 2 & 3 until all yarn is used.
OPTIONAL BORDER
We crocheted 2 rows of double crochet around the edge in a contrast yarn
Sew in ends.
