Janie Crow Mystical Lanterns - Avice Colourway Description
Using Stylecraft Special DK, Avice is one of three new colourways for the Mystical Lanterns Blanket
Created by renowned designer Jane Crowfoot, the name of a repeated tessellating design, like the one used in this design, is called an ‘Ogee’ pattern in Arabesque design. The pattern for the lantern shape motif is based on a granny hexagon pattern, but Jane has made a few changes to come up with the curved design that tessellates.
