In light of World Mental Health Day, we would like to bring your awareness to the impacts of knitting and crochet on mental well-being. They are proven to reduce anxiety and depression as well as being used as treatment for dementia, chronic pain and eating disorders.

Knitting and crochet offer an escape for the mind to be fully immersed in the present moment – from stitch to stitch, it allows the opportunity for the crafter to slow the mind’s thoughts and calm any worries that they have been having.
